Members of the project participated in "The (Porous) Matrix Returns" activity during The European Night of Researchers, where they introduced attendees to the fascinating world of functionally graded printed materials. They demonstrated how printed materials, especially those with varying properties, deform and fragment under extreme conditions, such as hypervelocity impacts. Visitors had the opportunity to observe 3D-printed specimens, created with the help of Artificial Intelligence, and explore how these materials behave when subjected to such impacts
